Transparency Statement: Our Use of Digital Tools and AI
Effective Date: 14th August 2026
Our mission is to actively promote diverse voices within the Coaching and Coaching Research ecosystem.
Authenticity is at the heart of everything we do, including our commitment to you.
To ensure our website and digital communications are accessible, clear, and globally inclusive we use everyday digital assistive tools, such as grammar correctors, spell checkers, and formatting software to maintain consistent messaging.
Purpose
In the spirit of transparency, and in alignment with the recent transparency requirements of the EU Artificial Intelligence Act (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689), we want to clarify how these digital tools interact with our work:
- Assistive Editing, Not Generation: Under Article 50 of the Act, transparency labels for AI-generated content are not required for systems that perform an "assistive function for standard editing" or that do not substantially alter the original meaning of the text. The tools we use serve solely as administrative aids to polish human-authored text. They do not generate the conceptual knowledge, context, or philosophical thought foundational to this event.
- Human Editorial Control: The legislation confirms that when content undergoes human review and a person holds full editorial responsibility for the publication, it remains human-authored work.
Every page, policy, and pathway on this website is firmly guided, authored, and governed by our human organising team.
Our use of these tools is strictly functional. The soul of the conference series is grounded in our commitment to advancing coaching research beyond dualistic frameworks and remains entirely Human.

This is the foundational Transparency Statement that underpins the conference series. Website Terms of Use and Accessibility statements, sit alongside this document. Read the Privacy Policy for Coaching in the Round →
